Certificates of participation start with HC-. Certificates for organizers start with HA-.
What the result means
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Certificate Verified | Authentic and valid |
| Under Review | The event was reported and Hirevers is reviewing it, so validity is on hold |
| Certificate Revoked | Revoked by the organizer, or the event was removed by Hirevers |
| Certificate not found | No certificate has this ID. It may be mistyped or fabricated |
The page also shows the recipient, the event, the organizer, the event date, and the date the certificate was issued.
Why the certificates are trustworthy
Tied to live attendance
Attendees only receive a certificate by entering a code that the organizer shares during the live session. The verification page always reflects the current status, so a revoked certificate cannot pass as valid.
Blockchain-verified certificates
Some events record their certificates on the Bitcoin blockchain. Their verification page shows the Bitcoin block, and you can download proof files to check them yourself at opentimestamps.org. See blockchain-verified certificates.
