Referral Commission and Cashing Out to Bitcoin
How referral commission is calculated, how coins add up from your very first referral, and how to cash them out as Bitcoin.
Every qualifying referral earns you a commission, paid in coins, starting from your very first one. Once you reach the required tier, those coins can be withdrawn as real money, paid in Bitcoin.
Estimate your earnings
Not sure what your numbers would look like? The referral calculator lets you plug in a referral count and plan type and see the estimated coins and dollars, for both Business and Freelancer accounts.
How commission is calculated
Commission is a percentage of what the referred person actually pays for their first Business Account purchase - not a flat amount, so it scales naturally with whatever plan they choose.
| Account type | Commission rate |
|---|---|
| Business (active) | 20% of the amount paid |
| Freelancer | 10% of the amount paid |
Starts from referral #1
No tier requirement to start earning - your very first successful referral pays commission.
Scales with the plan purchased
A referral who buys an Annual plan earns you more coins than one who buys Monthly, since commission is a percentage of the real amount paid.
Sign-ups alone do not count
The person has to complete a purchase.
Renewals do not count
Only a person's first purchase ever counts, once.
Your rate follows your current account status
The rate you earn is based on whether you have an active Business Account at the moment each referral is credited - not a permanent account type. If your Business Account expires, new referrals earn the Freelancer rate until you reactivate. If you activate a Business Account later, new referrals go back to the Business rate. Referrals already credited keep the rate they were paid at.
Cashing out
Withdrawal is tier-gated
Cashing out requires reaching Platinum tier (100 referrals) and holding at least the minimum coin balance, even though coins themselves start accruing from referral #1. See referral tiers for where you currently stand.
Check that you qualify
Open Referral in your dashboard. It shows your tier, coin balance, and whether withdrawal is available to you yet.
Choose your Bitcoin network
On-chain works with any Bitcoin wallet. Lightning has lower fees but only works if your wallet or exchange explicitly supports it - use whichever matches where you plan to receive the funds.
Submit the request
Enter the amount and your Bitcoin address (or Lightning address/invoice), then submit.
Wait for review
Requests are reviewed manually before sending. You get a notification when it is approved and sent.
Getting the address right
Copy and paste, never type by hand
Bitcoin transfers cannot be reversed. If you send to a wrong address, the money is gone and nobody can retrieve it, including us. Copy the address from your wallet app and paste it, then check the first and last few characters match.
Make sure the address and network match what your wallet or exchange actually supports. On-chain and Lightning use different address formats - sending to the wrong type of address for the network you selected can cause the payment to fail.
Why review takes time
Every payout is checked by a person before sending. This is deliberate. It catches mistyped addresses and abuse before money moves irreversibly, and slower is better than wrong when a transfer cannot be undone.
Never heard of Bitcoin?
You do not need to understand it deeply. Sign up with any exchange available in your country, find the receive or deposit option for Bitcoin, and copy the address it gives you. That address is where your payout arrives, and the exchange can convert it to your local currency afterwards.
