How businesses find you when filtering.
What stays private
Your email and WhatsApp are not public
Only businesses with an active Business Account can see them. Regular visitors, unpaid accounts, and search engines never do. Nobody can scrape your contact details off Hirevers.
Using a different email for work
Your profile has a separate contact email field. Leave it empty to use your sign-in email, or fill it in to send work enquiries somewhere else. Useful for keeping a personal address out of business conversations.
Hiding individual portfolio images
Client work you cannot show openly can still be listed. Hide the image and it is replaced with a heavily blurred version on public pages, so visitors see the work exists without seeing it. The blur cannot be reversed by visitors. See upload portfolio.
No hidden ranking
Nothing is secretly boosted or buried
Paid ads sit in their own slots and are labelled as ads. Everything else is ordered by straightforward rules like recency and category. Not advertising does not push you down.
Securing the account itself
Visibility is one thing, access is another. Turn on two-factor authentication so that even someone with your login cannot get in.
Deleting your account
You can delete it yourself from your dashboard settings. This is permanent. See the privacy policy for how data is handled afterwards.
