Rates and Salaries Guide
See typical rates for each IT skill, based on real jobs, talent rates, and services on Hirevers.
The rates and salaries guide shows what people typically charge and pay for each IT skill.
What it shows
For each skill, rates are grouped by how they are paid: per hour, per month, per year, and per project.
Median
The middle value, so a few very high or very low numbers do not distort it.
Typical range
The middle half of all data points, which is where most rates fall.
Where the numbers come from
Salaries in active job posts, rates on talent profiles, and prices of active services.
When a skill appears
A skill only appears once it has at least five data points for the same period. Fewer than that would not be reliable. Numbers are updated daily, so new skills appear on their own as more talent, services, and jobs are added.
Statistics only
The guide shows aggregated numbers. It never shows who charges what.
How to use it
For talent
Check what others charge before setting your rate or pricing a service.
For businesses
Plan a realistic budget before posting a job. Realistic salaries attract more applicants.
Help improve it
Set your rate and choose how it is paid (per hour, per month, or per project) in Edit Profile. Every rate makes the guide more accurate for everyone.
